Last season, when ‘Love & Hip Hop’ New York wrapped, we had no idea if we’d ever see rapper Jim Jones and his fiancee Chrissy on television again. Chrissy made no secrets about having issues with how producer Mona Scott Young handled business and expressed that she did not want to be a part of anything that had Mona’s name on it.Now, after months of rumors about a spin off show, it’s confirmed that the couple will be back on VH1 later this month with their new series ‘Chrissy & Mr. Jones.’ [How'd they get around Mona putting her hand in the pot for this show is questionable!]
The trailer for the new season has been released and it looks as though it will be full of emotions as Jim and Chrissy prepare for their wedding. Although Chrissy spent most of the last season of L&HH, putting pressure on Jimmy to get a ring, walk down that aisle and to start making babies, the script has somehow flipped. This time around, it’s Jim that wants the family life and Chrissy who doesn’t think she’s ready for a kid or marriage. [She's even spotted packing her bags and on the way out the door in the trailer].
Meanwhile, Chrissy’s good friend and ‘L&HH’ co-star Emily B will also star in the show as Chrissy’s confidant who assists her with making sound decisions along the way. This could definitely get interesting:
