Nate Dogg’s Children Fight Over Singer’s Estate

The children of the late G-Funk singer want control of their father’s estate and assets, saying that their grandmother or Nate’s wife doesn’t deserve it…

It has been over a year since Nate Dogg died due to complications after suffering multiple strokes.

Now, the children of the legendary G-Funk singer are trying to make sure that their father’s memory is kept alive through them by fighting to gain control of his estate and assets over their grandmother, Ruth Holmes, or Nate’s wife, Latoya Calvin.

Yesterday, Nate’s daughter, Aundrane Hale, told TMZ:

“Ruth doesn’t have my best interest or the interest of my brothers and sisters.”

She adds that Latoya “didn’t even show up to Nate’s funeral” and “was never a grandmother” to them.

When Nate Dogg died last March, he didn’t have a will to properly divvy his assets, leaving Calvin to try to take charge.

TMZ reports that a judge has yet to rule on how Nate’s assets are divided.—Mark Lelinwalla
